I am currently a Junior Research Fellow at St. Anne's College, Oxford University; I received my Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley in 2023.

My research expertise is the legal history of democratic ideas and institutions, and I am currently working on the theological and legal history of the concept of accountability.
