I am currently an Assistant Professor at the University of Houston, and am honored to be the Ross M. Lence Distinguished University Teaching Chair.
I was previously a Junior Research Fellow at St Annes College at Oxford University (2023-2025).
My research expertise is the legal history of democratic ideas and institutions, and I am currently working on the theological and legal history of the concept of accountability.
